We are getting married on Memorial Day weekend. It is funny how folks will tell you exactly how you feel but do it behind your back. I knew we might have some complaints, but it was the one weekend that I could totally save a huge amount of money on our reception place if we got married on a Sunday. So I thought genius - we will get married on Memorial Day weekend. Folks can see it as a mini-vacation to Chicago! Well...people were receptive and then unfortunately, some have changed their minds. It started with some family members rumbling over it and then I recently have gotten it from a couple friends. I usually make a quick decision and stick with it, but I did fret over this one. I felt bad and what was nice was the BF did say - screw it. If people want to come to the wedding great. If they don't great too. So today, I ran went to someecards for another reason and saw this - I had to laugh.

I love these e-cards, they have some great ones and this just says it all! I am actually debating about having ours on Memorial Day weekend, personally if someone invited me to a wedding on Memorial Day I wouldn't mind and would love the extra vacation time but I suppose there are those families that do the same thing every year.
