Eyelash Galore

I saw this post on the Handcrafted wedding before my wedding, but never made it to Sephora. I actually picked it up a couple weeks ago and OMG! I will never use another mascara again. I am totally sold on Smashbox's bionic mascara. This is a must buy!

We are getting married on Memorial Day weekend. It is funny how folks will tell you exactly how you feel but do it behind your back. I knew we might have some complaints, but it was the one weekend that I could totally save a huge amount of money on our reception place if we got married on a Sunday. So I thought genius - we will get married on Memorial Day weekend. Folks can see it as a mini-vacation to Chicago!

Well...people were receptive and then unfortunately, some have changed their minds. It started with some family members rumbling over it and then I recently have gotten it from a couple friends. I usually make a quick decision and stick with it, but I did fret over this one. I felt bad and what was nice was the BF did say - screw it. If people want to come to the wedding great. If they don't great too. So today, I ran went to someecards for another reason and saw this - I had to laugh.

Oh No....

Unfortunately, I came across this article today on gawker.com. Not a good way to start out this blog entry. However - this bride was found sleeping above the doorway of a brownstone in NYC. I guess it was somewhat a huge story because people thought she was doing some sort of art project. However, it turns out that she had been off her meds and unfortunately, gone a little crazy....umm...interesting.
