Stamp Issues

The invitations project - done! Check it off the list. We ended up printing out everything yesterday and then had them cut professionally (worth every penny!)
So here is the vent. I loved the idea of having RSVP postcards - from the beginning that was a must for my invitations. However, I have come to realize after visiting two local post offices and the U.S. Post Office website that there is no variety for postcard stamps. The only one is this lovely Florida Panther. Are you kidding me? So I need to make a decision on vintage stamps or making my own stamps (which would cost a little bit). My fiance thought I was crazy making such a fuss over a stamp. But seriously - a panther? That is it?!!

I hear you, I hate that USPS can't make better stamps! And you figure the whole point of doing the postcard RSVP was to save on postage and the cost for those custom stamps is outrageous. You would probably be better off (cost wise) slapping a regular rate stamp on there but those aren't much better.

P.S. The .41 "beautiful blooms" are pretty and come in shades of pink that would actually work well with your invites.

i would be saying the same thing... a panther? that is almost comical.

i think the beautiful blooms are pretty. or vintage is really pretty if you find them...

I love the vintage stamps, but it would be a little more work. Can I ask where you got the invitations cut?

Take it from me - postcards are a headache! They often get stuck in the machine at the post office and never make it to their final destination. Always, if you want a proper count do a reply card and reply envelope. If you insist on the postcard, there is always photostamps.com where you can make custom stamps in the proper postage rate. abcddesign.blogspot.com
