One thing I have been told over and over again is - make sure your photographer knows exactly what shots you want. I recently have been getting Real Simple's wedding emails and saw this the other day. It is a photographer/videographer shot sheet.

you should really make a digital file of shots you want her to emulate, so that she has concrete ideas/images to work from!
