So I still have so much I need to do, but decided that I would at least highlight the things I have done!
1) Phew...invitations are done. DONE! And ready to go in the mail next week.
2) I am working on our menu cards and trying to figure out what we are going to do for escort cards and programs. Hopefully those suckers will be figured out next week.
3) I have scheduled my hair but still need to figure out make-up.
4) Approved our budget with our flowers...I went crazy and then decided to cut some things. Yes, the peonies centerpieces and bouquets are still on it!
5) Finally finished our registry.
6) Received my shower invitation and it is beautiful.
7) And did all of this while on the road for the last two weeks for work...Ugh, I miss you Chicago.

The Photographer Shot Sheet
One thing I have been told over and over again is - make sure your photographer knows exactly what shots you want. I recently have been getting Real Simple's wedding emails and saw this the other day. It is a photographer/videographer shot sheet. Friday, February 29, 2008
Some Love to My Photographer II
(StudioThisIs)So my sister stalks our photographer. I got an email from her late last night, informing me that they had just posted four new weddings up in their featured section. So I of course looked this morning and I know, I know - everyone says they love their photographers - but I really do love them. As it is getting closer and closer to our wedding day, I get even more giddy with excitement to see their work on our big day!

The Welcome Bags
Yikes, it is almost March! I remember a long time ago saying that in January I would do all my DIY projects - one being the welcome bags. Unfortunately, that did not happen and it is looking like it will not happen this month either. However, I did see this today and thought how perfect would this be - bagable gifts based right here in Chicago. They create your welcome bag with everything you need and even deliver it to your hotel guests. This might be a worse case scenario, but if I delay any longer, I may be giving them a call!Friday, February 22, 2008
Smart Bride TV
Last week, I got the opportunity of meeting several of the Chicago bloggers and we did a sit-down interview with Smart Bride TV. Here is the clip. Thank you Ray, Wendy, Kelly, Misse and Amy (Tara - I was so mad you had to leave early but so fun meeting you). I had the best time just chitchatting with everyone! I believe there will be more segments, but this was the first one. Enjoy!

Chicago Social Brides
I saw this post from Miss Hydrangea at weddingbee and realized I was going to post something about this and completely forgot. I said a long time ago that I stopped buying magazines, but my wedding planner had actually given me a copy of Chicago Social Brides. I fell in love with it. Just an absolutely gorgeous magazine. Chicago Brides - You can submit to get a free copy here. I love it because they had some stunning real wedding shots in there, but was bummed because I had hoped they had some of these great pictures on their website (so I could of course post on this blog!). No such luck.
