Then I started looking on ebay's site. I found a pair of Jimmy Choo and Vera Wang shoes for pretty good prices, HOWEVER none of them were my size.
A couple weeks ago (I am so sorry classicbride!), I found these on ebay and put in a bid. I thought they would work but didn't know for sure until I tried them on last night. Well they perfectly match my dress and I only spent 50 bucks (plus shipping). Yeah!
Some advice on if you start looking for shoes on ebay - make sure to narrow your search to your size only...l fell in love with the Jimmy Choos and even tried talking myself into thinking I could fit into a size 7 shoe. Also - start early when looking for shoes on ebay. I checked daily on ebay beginning in early November- and just bought these two weeks ago.

So pretty! And only $50! I get discouraged with ebay but now I am going to have to try looking again
:)
I know! They of course have the really cheap looking ones all over ebay but every once and awhile I find a Kenneth Cole or Grace.
That's what I did too--found some gorgeous Grace shoes (style Bianca)on ebay, and I think I paid $45 for shoes that retail for $120+ I was SO excited--although in retrospect, I should have gone for comfort and NOT style--my feet were killing me by the end of our first dance. Luckily I had little pink shoes to slip on and dance the night away in! :)
Oh Aletha! That is an awesome idea. I might have to buy some comfortable ones too.
lol don't be sorry! i'm so glad you found them and are so happy with them! i still have awhile to find a pair and will definitely plan on browsing ebay! thanks for the good idea!
(and god, those jimmy choos have me drooling, too!)
